Seat Numbers and Seating Chart Layout

The other tip / trick to know is that every other section the way seat numbers are referred to change. Meaning, seat numbers will either start with 1 or 101. For example seat number 1 in Orchestra 4 is next to seat 114 of Orchestra 2 while seat number 14 in Orhcestra 4 is next to seat number 101 of Orchestra 6. Seat number 114 of Orchestra 6 (which is the furthest from the center of the stage) will then be adjacent to seat number 1 of Orchestra 8.

The Pit (Seating)

The pit can also be configured so that it's assigned seats. The seats and rows have no incline so the more rows there are the higher likelihood that your view will be blocked. In this case you should buy orchestra tickets which are elevated off of the floor.

Gibson Amphitheatre Seat Numbers

The seating chart and the seat numbers in the Gibson Amphitheatre is one of the most confusing layouts there is, yet it is intuitive once you are told the pattern. The first pattern to know is that seat number 1 or 101 is always going to be on the side of the section that is closest to the center of the stage. For example seat 101 of Orchestra 2 is next to Orchestra 1 and seat number 101 of Orchestra 3 is also next to Orchestra 1.

The Pit

There's very few tickets sold for the pit section, so if you are small, it's a valid concern if your view will be obstructed. The Pit area is standing room only and it's first come first serve. So if you get there early enough you'll have no problem. If you are still concerned then you should buy orchestra seats.

The Mezzanine Sections

The seating numbers for the orchestra sections and the mezzanine sections work in all of the same ways. When sitting in the mezzanine sections the seat numbers or row is not nearly as important as is getting closer to the center of the stage (towards section 24).
