Defenseman Mario Ferraro and left wing John Leonard are young players to watch. In goal, the Sharks will decide between Adin Hill and James Reimer.

Bob Boughner enters his third season, and second full season, as Sharks’ head coach. Boughner was previously the head coach of the Florida Panthers.
